These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Tourays Global Logistics ("TGL", "we", "us") for international freight forwarding, vehicle export, container shipping, air freight, and related logistics coordination services connecting Europe, Africa and international markets.
TGL provides logistics and freight forwarding services including but not limited to: vehicle export (RORO and container), container shipping (FCL and LCL), air freight, customs documentation assistance, warehousing, cargo consolidation, and door-to-port/door-to-door delivery services.
All quotations are subject to availability and may be revised based on changes in carrier rates, fuel surcharges, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing is confirmed upon booking.
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed booking confirmation and the required deposit payment. The balance is due before vessel/flight departure unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may result in shipment delays and additional charges.
The client is responsible for properly preparing cargo for shipment, including adequate packaging, labeling, and compliance with export/import regulations. For vehicle exports, the vehicle fuel tank must not exceed 1/4 capacity, personal items must be removed, and the vehicle must be in a condition suitable for loading.
TGL offers cargo insurance as an optional service. Unless explicitly included in the quotation, shipments are not insured. We strongly recommend cargo insurance for all international shipments. TGL's liability without insurance is limited according to international conventions.
TGL assists with customs documentation but is not responsible for delays or costs arising from customs inspections, regulatory holds, or incorrect information provided by the client. Import duties, taxes, and fees at the destination are the client's responsibility.
All transit times are estimated and not guaranteed. TGL is not liable for delays caused by weather, port congestion, carrier schedule changes, customs holds, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where a container, vehicle, package or other cargo unit is packed, stuffed, loaded, secured or sealed by the client or by a third party acting for the client, the client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the cargo declaration, lawful ownership or authority to ship, proper packing/loading/stowage/securing, and timely disclosure of dangerous, hazardous, restricted or specially regulated goods and required documentation. Unless TGL separately agrees in writing to an inspection or verification service, TGL does not physically inspect or verify the internal contents of customer-loaded or sealed units and may rely on the information and documents supplied by the client. Nothing in this clause excludes or limits any duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
TGL's liability for loss or damage to cargo is governed by applicable mandatory law and international conventions where they apply. Any contractual limitation or exclusion applies only to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, subject to any mandatory rules and jurisdiction provisions that apply to the individual contract.
